
This agreement is between you (the advertiser) and Pyrus Media (South West) Ltd

1 – Editing Policy
1.1 – Pyrus Media (South West) Ltd retains the right to have final edit on any advert/content submitted by you (the advertiser).
2 – Subscription Policy
2.1- If you choose to advertise you enter in to a subscription which will be on-going unless cancelled by you (the advertiser) or us (Pyrus Media (South West) Ltd).
2.2 – Your subscription fee may change at renewal without notice.
2.3 – Your subscription and billing may revert to a monthly subscription once any prepaid term has ended.
3 – Proofing Policy
3.1 – By submitting the order you are confirming that you (the advertiser) have proofed/checked the advert’s colour, resolution, size, spelling & layout and give consent to use it in Pyrus Media (South West) Ltd‘s community newsletters.
4 – Cancellation Policy
4.1 – You (the advertiser) can cancel an advertising order by calling and speaking to Pyrus Media (South West) Ltd. Please note that an order can only be cancelled if it hasn’t gone to print.
4.2 – The order may be cancelled by us (Pyrus Media (South West) Ltd) at any time.
5 – Refund Policy
5.1 – If the order is cancelled by you (the advertiser) then a credit refund will be applied to your account for use against future orders. This credit must be used on advertising within 12 months of the date of cancellation otherwise it will expire.
5.2 – If we (Pyrus Media (South West) Ltd) cancel the advertising order you (the advertiser) have placed or we are unable to go to print you will be offered a cash refund for that month’s advertising.
5.3 – Any credit must be used on advertising within 12 months of the date of cancellation otherwise it will expire
6 – Right to refuse
6.1 – No order to advertise is accepted by Pyrus Media (South West) Ltd until confirmation is sent by the editor to the advertiser.
6.2 – We (Pyrus Media (South West) Ltd) reserve the right to refuse advertising orders at our discretion.
7 – Late Payment
7.1 – At the editor’s discretion, adverts may be removed from the publication if the payment has not been received by the time it goes to print.
7.2 – Unless otherwise agreed in writing before placing the order, the standard terms for invoicing will be for payment to be received before the newsletter is sent to print. If you require Net30, please ensure that you place your order with adequate time to make payment before the newsletter goes to print.
7.3 – Should an invoice not be paid 30 days from the invoice date, the law allows a late payment fee to be levied. Please see the
UK GOV website for more information.
7.4 – If payment is not received on or before the due date, any discount given will become void and the full amount should be paid. Should the full amount not be paid the advertising term may be adjusted and/or a late payment fee (7.3) may be levied.
8 – Terms of service
8.1 – The location of content in the newsletter is entirely at the editor’s discretion. Any agreements previously made regarding content placement (written, oral or otherwise) are invalid.
8.2 – No exclusivity agreements are permitted. Any agreements previously made regarding exclusivity (written, oral or otherwise) are invalid.
8.3 – These terms and conditions replace in full any previous terms and conditions that have been previously accepted.
8.4 – These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time.
8.5 – We do not pay commission of any kind for adverts or articles.
8.6 – If you would like different artwork for your advert to be used in different editions of the newsletter, you are required to submit all artwork at the time of placing your order or ensure you send updated artwork in time for the deadlines. Please note that your advert artwork will be reused each month until a replacement is submitted.
8.7 – Pyrus Media (South West) Ltd does not send reminders to submit artwork. Please ensure you are aware of all deadlines before placing your advertising order.
8.8 – In the event of a dispute, Pyrus Media (South West) Ltd will decide the final outcome.
8.9 – Please note these terms and conditions may change during your prepaid term.
8.10 – The terms and conditions found on this site replace any that may previously have been accepted.
9 – Payment Policy
9.1 – Payment accepted by Card (via Stripe) or Bank Transfer.
9.2 – Payment by cheques accepted by prior agreement only and have a £10 administration charge per cheque.

10 – Discounts
10.1 – Discounts are awarded at the discretion of the editor and may be withdrawn at any time.
10.2 – Only one discount can be used per advertising order.
10.3 – Charity discount is void if the directors/Trustees receive renumeration.
10.4 – Any discount awarded is void if payment is made late.
11 – Distribution
11.1 – From time to time due to the use of volunteers the number of newsletters delivered may vary from figures quoted at the time of placing your order.
11.2 – If the number distributed is less than 80% of the number quoted at the time of placing your order you may request a partial refund which will be given as credit against future orders.
